What a lovely day we had yesterday! R and D joined us for our jaunt up to the north of the island. We decided to zig zag our way up there, so we could stop at "Cutters" for lunch.
Delicious fish cutters and #1 Rum punch! *hic*
Then it was on to Bathsheba, where we stopped for a bit of a walk along the beach.
I picked up a bit of 'sea glass'. What for, I'm not sure yet....
Then, the drive up to North Point. Each time we go there we get lost. We find it though, but we ALWAYS take the wrong turn, and then say, "Oh yeah, we were supposed to turn left at the ...."
We drove back about 4 and got caught in busy Friday evening traffic.. But, home about 5
- so wine o'clock time
How did they get that car up there?
Off to Birdies for dinner. I had shepherd's pie (and it was very good) with Caesar salad as only Birdies can make it -- with olives and tomatoes!
After a rough couple of days, we're moving forward now.
