In Barbados

Our flight was delayed by an hour or so, but we landed safely and were met with brilliant sunshine and warm breezes.  Ah!

 We are having a barbecue tonight to celebrate Old Years Night.  We'll have steaks on the barbie,  seafood appetiser, lots of wine and lovely company.

Before Barbados

Slow driving to Toronto, we left Peterborough about 1.30 and weren't at the hotel until about 3.30.

Highway 115 was icy and snow covered, we saw 3 cars in the ditch.  Crazy people were passing us on the snow packed and slippery left lane.

Here at the Holiday Inn Airport Hotel, it's very nice and comfy. 

Not much of a view though!....but we're only here for a short while.  We'll be up at 5.30 to catch the 6.20 shuttle to the airport for the flight to Barbados!

Peterborough

Just doing some last minute packing, then off to Toronto on Saturday.   Leaving for Barbados Sunday morning.  

Leaving the snow and the cold.  I won't miss it....
